Bird Collage Painting: MAGPIE AND BANKSIAS by Julie Lynch

Magpie and Banksias is a vibrant contemporary collage featuring an Australian magpie surrounded by banksias and layered botanical forms. Bold ochres, warm pinks, reds and fresh greens create a joyful, graphic composition, celebrating the distinctive character of the Australian landscape through colour, pattern and expressive collage. Created with acrylic paint and recycled papers on canvas, and presented in a white-washed oak frame.

Each piece is individually created by Australian artist Julie Lynch, whose background in costume and design informs her love of colour, pattern, texture and composition.
