You’re invited to visit my stunning ‘STABLES STUDIOS’ in the heart of the Southern Highlands
After many months of dreaming, planning and creating, I'm delighted to welcome you to Julie Lynch at Stables Studios... my new creative home at historic Throsby Park in the Southern Highlands.
Nestled within the beautifully restored stables, this is more than a workspace. It's a place where art, history, nature and connection come together...
I can't wait to welcome you for OPEN STUDIO DAYS, PAINTING CLASSES and COLLECTOR VISITS.
Welcome to my next chapter!
What You'll Discover at Stables Studios
Julie Lynch at Stables Studios has been created as a place to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and experience art in a truly unique setting. Nestled within the historic stables at Throsby Park, this special space brings together art, history, nature and community in the heart of the Southern Highlands.
Whether you're an art collector, an aspiring artist, or simply someone who enjoys beautiful places and creative conversations, I look forward to welcoming you.
Open Studio Days
Throughout the year, I will open the studio doors for a series of Open Studio Days, inviting visitors to step behind the scenes and experience the creative process firsthand.
These relaxed and inspiring days offer the opportunity to view original paintings, discover new collections, watch works evolve from sketch to finished artwork, and gain insights into my techniques, inspirations and studio practice. You'll be able to explore the studio at your own pace, enjoy artist demonstrations, and experience the unique atmosphere of this historic setting.
Open Studio Days will also include special exhibitions, seasonal gatherings, guest speakers, creative events and, of course, The Stables High Tea—an opportunity to gather, connect and enjoy fine art, conversation and hospitality within the beautiful surrounds of Throsby Park.
Above all, these days are about sharing the joy of creativity and offering a place to pause and immerse yourself in the quiet yet exhilarating beauty of the Southern Highlands.
Painting Classes and Mentorships
One of my greatest passions is nurturing creativity in others.
At Stables Studios, I will be offering intimate painting classes, workshops and mentorship opportunities designed for artists at all stages of their creative journey. Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or looking to deepen an established practice, my aim is to provide a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment in which to learn and grow.
Together we will explore colour, composition, still life painting, creative confidence and the development of your own artistic voice. Drawing upon my years as a professional artist, together with my recent mentorship under acclaimed artist Kate Nielsen, I look forward to sharing not only practical skills but also the mindset, discipline and creative curiosity that sustain a lifelong artistic practice.
Numbers will be intentionally limited, allowing for meaningful individual guidance and a truly personalised experience.
Collector Visits
For collectors, Stables Studios offers a unique opportunity to experience artworks in the very place they are created.
Private Collector Visits can be arranged by appointment, providing a relaxed and personal opportunity to view available works, discuss commissions, explore new collections and learn more about the stories behind the paintings.
Many collectors enjoy seeing works in progress and gaining insight into the inspirations that shape each piece. These visits create the opportunity for deeper conversations about collecting, commissioning and living with original art.
For those seeking a bespoke artwork, I also welcome commission consultations. Together we can discuss ideas, colour palettes, treasured objects, meaningful places or personal stories, creating a work that is uniquely yours.
My hope is that every collector visit feels less like a transaction and more like an invitation into the creative journey itself.
A Place to Pause and Be Inspired
Above all, Stables Studios is a place to immerse yourself in the quiet yet exhilarating beauty of Throsby Park—a place where creativity, history and nature come together in unexpected ways.
I look forward to welcoming you to this special new chapter and sharing the journey with you.

Set within the inspiring surrounds of Stables Studios at historic Throsby Park, this bespoke program combines twelve consecutive three-hour studio classes with twelve hours of private coaching, creating a uniquely tailored experience designed around your individual goals, strengths and aspirations.
