Created during my artist residency in the medieval village of Noyers, Burgundy, this one-of-a-kind collage draws on the charm of everyday French still life. A striped jug brimming with wild blooms anchors the composition, assembled from layers of hand-painted collage papers—each one marked, brushed, or stained with expressive colour and texture.

Using acrylic, watercolour, and mixed papers I’ve built a piece that is both playful and poised: a celebration of gathered flowers, rustic pattern, and the joy of improvisation. The result is a work that feels intimate and evocative, inviting you to pause and delight in its crafted whimsy.
